Our mission at Augie’s Prime Cut is to provide the utmost quality of meats and seafood, wine and spirits, and professional service. We strive to keep these high and dependable standards for our guests while simultaneously supporting charities and the general community.

OUR STORY
Once upon a time, dedicated nurse Audrey Hochroth and hardworking contractor Sal Barone found themselves tirelessly searching for a place to get a great steak, sit back and experience fine dining to escape their busy lives for an evening. They searched and searched, feeling the neighborhood was lacking a certain pizazz. Tired of trekking to Manhattan for a decent meal, they seized the opportunity when a spot on the corner of Lexington Avenue became available.

Augie’s Prime Cut has since been a staple in the community. Owners Hochroth and Barone run a thriving steakhouse, providing the highest quality of both meat and seafood to its guests. Prime rib, porterhouse steaks and fresh lobster from the tank are among customer favorites, as well as the ever-changing list of features offered on a daily basis. Augie’s has an extensive wine and martini list and guarantees top tier professional service to keep its guests coming back for the experience they have come to rely on.

Not only known for its delicious and high quality food, Augie’s frequently hosts events to recognize its loyal customers and to support charities in the community. Augie’s has participated in such events with organizations including Toys for Tots, Support Connection for Breast Cancer Awareness and hosts an annual golf outing to benefit Autism Speaks. Augie’s has developed a reputation for never saying no and the community knows their doors are always open. Most recently, Augie’s has added Fat Sal’s Steak Sauce to its roster, which is available for purchase at the restaurant and coming soon to local supermarkets, proceeds go to Autism Speaks.
